Kathleen,
The YCL72 series is a clone of the Buffet R-13. It is an excellent
one, usually as good or better than the R-13. It has the same
tuning/acoustical properties (for good or evil) as the R-13 with the
possible exception that it might be a tad brighter. In the past, there
was some criticism of the quality of the wood Yamaha used - some said
that it tended to get blown out quickly. I have not heard anything
about that in many years. As far as I can tell, it is a viable option.
I don't think it is any much worse or better than the R-13. If you like
it, BUY IT! have no fear that it is inferior. (did i just do a pun?)
