Gillian,

At times like these, sometimes it's best to take a day off and not play at
all. It sounds as if you're getting so anxious that practice has become
counterproductive.

Also, are you making yourself try to play the runs faster than is necessary?
It's better (and in most cases perfectly proper, musically) to slow down to
the point at which you play accurately instead of swiftly.

Take a day off. Then, when you go back to the piece, only do what you're
able to do, not what you think you "must" do. You'll almost surely get a
better evaluation than you would if you try to play faster than you're able
to cleanly and fumble the runs.
