Hello everyone,
I would like to mention a new website designed for classical music
students and teachers, which I hope may be of some use to clarinetists
on this mailing list.
At www.piano-accompaniments.com, you can download (or compile to CD)
recordings of piano parts for repertoire you may be learning. The idea
behind this is to make practising more effective and more fun!
The site currently includes recordings for 16 of the great clarinet
works in the repertoire, including pieces by Brahms, Busoni, Debussy,
Gade, Horowitz, Lutoslawski, Mozart, Poulenc, Saint-Saens, Schumann
and Weber. The catalogue will be growing in future, and I am happy to
take requests for new works.
All the works are recorded and edited by a professional accompanist.
I have had very positive feedback from customers so far.
I hope this website may be of help.
Please email me at the address below if you have any questions.
Paul Gardner
