I'll be playing Vaclav Havel's (the early 19th Century
bohemian kapellmeister, not the Czech President)
sextet version of 4 movements of the Gran Partita on
Sunday. Measure 111 is there in all its glory (we'll
omit it of course).

This is a relatively new edition ("first modern
edition") published by Accolade in 2005. I'm
interested to hear how it sounds.

I agree with Glenn's choice of manuscript page to
display. The whole orthography issue of the title is
too much insider stuff and actually quite a banal
discussion: it's fine here, but kind of embarassing on
the outside. Whether or not to play that measure 111
- now that's something the general public can sink its
teeth into. My second choice would be a page showing
a "pizzicato" marking for the string bass.

Have fun!
