Dear List
I know that this is a stupid question but here goes:
I just purchased an Urtext version of K622 (G.Henle Verlag) with the basset
clarinet part.There are portions of it in bass clef (perhaps understandible)
but why are these written 1 octave lower than they sound with leger lines
below the bass clef ? (makes it a little harder to read also).There are very
interesting background notes accompanying the music but no explanation re
this .
