Does anybody know about the curious Buffet Prestige Basset horn that was
advertised as a bass clarinet on eBay.
It was listed as:
eBay Buffet Crampon Prestige Bass Clarinet A Paris (item 7411928068 end time
May-07-06 104209 PDT).
Curiously, with 4 days left in the auction, the item was removed today.

How could anyone own this amazing instrument (list price about $18,000) and
not know what it is?
The reserve appeared to be $800.
Could it have been a stolen instrument?
