David B. Niethamer posted a link to Tony Pay's BBoard entry:

<<<I have a photocopy of the original manuscript, the clarinet part of which
I have put into Sibelius, and I attach a Postscript file of that. I don't
know whether it will work -- perhaps someone will tell me.

I should say that I am not suggesting that you play all the articulations
that appear, or don't appear, in this version. It's just that it's
worthwhile knowing what Weber wrote, so that you can ignore stuff written by
OTHER PEOPLE that doesn't fit with what you want to do.>>>

I should check out the BBoard more often than I do - I was heretofore
unaware that Tony had performed this service for us.

If only Tony or Dan would do something similar with our beloved K. 622 - not
an "edition" but perhaps a well-thought estimate of what the unadulterated
could be. It couldn't be perfect, of course - no "Urtext" and all that -
but better than 99% of the "editions" floating out there replete with
definitive conjecture.

I'd do it myself, but I don't have (a) the software or (b) the knowledge to
do it right. I could buy the software, but the knowledge is harder to come
by.
