Hi Bill,

Re: Kilford Neely

It seems that the spelling of his name is "Neely".

A Google Search turned up the Sonata at University of Maryland Library
Neely, Kilford
Sonata
K. Neely 1954
cl, pno
score (19p.)
5802

and a reference of him as a choir director at the First Baptist Church in Lafayette. Perhaps someone there knows where he went.

"He served until April 29,. 1955. Professor Kilford Neely of S.L.I. was then employed on a temporary basis as choir director."

SLI probably is a reference to:
Southwestern Louisiana Institute (SLI) a previous name (1921-1960) for the present University of Louisiana Lafayette. They my have more info:

Good Luck,
Jim George
