Do you have the Georgina Dobrée CD reissued on Clarinet Classics? That
has quite a few nice basset horn pieces on it, too.

They're also used in the orchestra for Ligeti's Hamburg Concerto---a bit
hidden a lot of the time, but a vital part of the soundworld. The
trouble is you have to get horn (and other) players who are up to
performing the technically very difficult parts!
