I have been playing on my set of Mazzeo Clarinets since the fall of
1970. I remember playing an orchestra concert about 3 days after the
clarinets arrived with very little problem (obviously a younger more
flexible mind). Even though my Bb has developed some pitch problems,
the aspect of the Mazzeo system that has me hooked is the thumb plateau
key. It makes such a huge difference that I believe if I ever bought a
standard Boehm clarinet I would have to have a plateau key made for it.
I have little problem switching otherwise.
