"I'm playing the basset horn part (marked alto clarinet in F) in an
upcoming concert of the Stravinsky Symphony for Winds in Boston 'round
about the first of May. Right now I'm transposing for alto clarinet, but
this is far from optimal. I tried to rent a basset horn from Rayburns,
but they don't have one to rent (two on consignment, though). Does
anyone know where I can get my grubby paws one one for beg, borrow, rent?

You could buy my remaining Buffet at Rayburn's (one sold!) or rent one of my
Selmers. Alto clarinet just isn't the same sound.
