Subj: [kl] Update Re: [kl] Rossi quality flaw

For those of you still interested, I had the instrument repaired by an
excellent technician in my area who I trust implicitly, rather than send it
back to WWBW for repair. I decided to do this because the delays working
with WWBW were, to my mind, excessive, given the price of the instrument.
Anticipating another two to three weeks' delay and lots of messing around
with shipping and receiving, I followed Mr. Rossi's "Plan C." (I've been on
the road a lot lately, and the fewer complications I have to deal with, the
better.)

My only concern about having a local person do it was that it might void any
warranty I have with WWBW, but I'm trusting that Mr. Rossi will make any
other manufacturing-related problems right, regardless.

To reiterate: Mr. Rossi has been very helpful and eager to resolve my
problem, and I consider the flaw in the instrument to be "one of those
things." WWBW was willing, but their system is cumbersome enough that I
decided that the delays of waiting for pickup, repair, and return weren't
worth it in the longrun.

Over and out.

B.
