That logo looks exactly like my standard 1949-ish Buffet A clarinet. My
newer Bb R13 (2003) has the "made in france" immediately below the
script "BC" at the bottom of the logo, whereas the older A has it about
1/2" south of the "BC". Based on the serial number you posted earlier
I'd say it's around 1948 (see
http://www.woodwind.org/clarinet/Equipment/HowOld/Buffet.html but I
calculate more like 2500/yr on average in the gap in the list in question).
