I use the C clarinet in my orchestras frequently, and playing oboe parts
when needed. This weekend I'm doing the Beethoven Mass in C, with most of
it for C, with some Bb and A. No one has, yet, complained from the podium,
because my C sounds like a slightly brighter Bb. I use my Bb mouthpiece,
with few intonation problems.

Morrie Backun just sent me an e-mail, saying "wait until you play the new
clarinets!" We will see...........
