Isn't that why the "open" keys should be "clamped" or dampened shut? To
prevent them from getting "banged, jiggled, vibrated" and thus possibly
loose their shape or shift?

WWBW DID NOT clamp any of the open keys closed on any of the three R-13's
they sent me! And yet the one R-13 the VA bought me from Music 123 (owned
by WWBW) had those factory installed clamps on the upper and lower joint.

Go figure. The clarinet the VA bought me was sweet but I went and sold it,
stupid me, now I am paying for that mistake with this streak of bad luck
trying to find one just as sweet as that one was.

Needle in a haystack I presume.
