Yes, that's a thing which I found interesting after some experience of
trying mouthpieces: that the "correct" facing isn't something that is
merely with reference to the player but is strongly dependent on the
other aspects such as chamber shape, material, the works. A facing that
works great on one mouthpiece/blank may be loathsome on another.

The nice thing about your K11 was that suddenly I found myself thinking,
"Gosh, I can actually do something with a narrow tip!" Whereas
previously all the narrow facing mouthpieces that I'd tried (mainly from
the Vandoren line) I'd hated.
