Why are you insisting on buying from them, in that
case? Buffet is not the only clarinet maker in the
world, and WWBW is not their only dealer. You say you
are from the Baltimore area in your posts. I am sure
there must be at least *one* dealer on the entire
Eastern Seaboard who could provide you with a quality
clarinet (Buffet or other, new or used) that would
make you happier than you are at present.

We live in a free market economy, where you can vote
with your wallet, and if WWBW is not meeting your
expectations, buy from someone else. I don't think
that anybody is putting a gun to your head and forcing
you to buy from them, are they? Ask for your money
back and shop elsewhere, if they can't satisfy your
needs/wants.

There are a large number of reputable resellers who
offer these horns at very competitive prices. While I
have had a good relationship with WWBW, that doesn't
mean I can say that everyone will be pleased with
their service or products. When a business does not
take care of me, I get a refund and shop elsewhere.
WWBW offers a 45-day return policy. That's very
reasonable. It gives you time to try out the horn,
and if you find it wanting in some way, you don't have
to keep it. Try getting that kind of a deal when you
buy a new car! I doubt you will be able to find many
dealers who will offer those terms.

For rock-bottom prices, you can't expect that somebody
will take the time and expense to set up, tune and
regulate the instrument. Good, professional service
costs more in most cases, and if you want it, you
should be prepared to pay a little more for the
instrument. It's like the difference between shopping
at Nieman-Marcus and Wal-Mart. Even if they offered
the same goods (I doubt they do!), one will give you
better service and more personal attention. It's
included in the higher price you pay.
