This is an interesting question. Emilie, at what pitch does this puppy play?
My experience, which this list may debate, is that most of the unusual
clarinets by LeBlanc, Selmer, Buffet (Eb's, D's, C's, bassetti), and a lot
of the Bb's and A's, are tuned a little sharp, no doubt so that they can be
played at A440 *or* A442.

My further experience, from playing myself and loaning C clarinets to
colleagues, is that they can be played in good tune if one takes the time to
derive a C clarinet reed/mouthpiece setup rather than just popping it off
the Bb.
