Well, he is a decent guy and was simply trying to do what he
thought was best. I suspect that he was influenced by the fact
that the Barenreiter edition advertises itself and the
"authentic" edition," and the only way to climb higher than that
is to say that "my edition is Urtext." You can't top that. But
when I brought the matter up, he was very pleasant and backed off
a little. He knows damn well that it is not Urtext. But if it
sells, ...

I am confident that I am the only person in the world who
expresses concern about these small issues.
