I think the new Breitkopf parts do sort out the anomaly that Dan mentions --
but if not, it's just a question of altering the one note in violins and
flutes.

I seem to remember that there's also an issue of where the bass plays/doesn't
play in the slow movement -- watch out that that's right, because the
Baerenreiter version is preferable. (But again, it can be altered quickly in
rehearsal.)

I did buy the Baerenreiter parts for my own use, and I have to say that they
are unsatisfactory for another and very important reason, namely that the
page turns don't work well. Also, though probably this won't concern you,
the horn parts are transposed and written in F, which is a nonsense if you
want to use hand horns in A, as you should in a proper period performance.
