Yes this is what I thought it implies as well, but as you say not explicitly
stated so not conclusive. It's a shame it doesn't say for sure as it
mentions what the piano is and also the instruments used in some of the
other pieces. If I can't find out I will just have to say that listening to
it one can surmise.... but can't say for sure.

My reading of the sleeve notes on my old vinyl copy of this is that it is
implied that he does use period instruments, although this is certainly not
explicitly stated. The sound he produces on these pieces also would suggest
that he does. Not conclusive for your purposes, I know.
