Dear all,
I have not had any reply from the email I sent to Alan Hacker and am not
sure whether it is the right address.
Would anyone on this list be able to shed some light on Alan Hacker's 1977
recording of Soireestucke on the LP "Hymn to the Sun". I am wondering
whether he has used a period/period replica clarinet for this recording.
The pianist is playing on a 1826 Conrad Graf Fortepiano so my thoughts are
that he probably is but the record sleeve notes don't mention whether he
uses a particular clarinet for this piece. He uses various different
clarinets for the other tracks.
I have spent hours trying to find out and have so far drawn a blank.
Hoping someone can help,
Many thanks,
Lorraine
