If the difference is like the E-11 Bb vs the R-13 Bb, the difference will be
huge. Maybe in a non-competitive situation it would be ok, but certainly not
for high end auditions.

It would be like attacking a tank with a baseball bat...........

I could see it for a C Clarinet much easier.
