My deepest sympathy at your loss.

I did not write when I read your first post, for my own mom, age 88,
has been declining extremely rapidly from Alzheimer's disease. She
no longer looks at or responds to me. Each Friday I bring a set of
candle sticks to her and we say the Shabbos blessing together- until
recently I had to say it for both of us. This morning (Monday), I
got the call that from home the they had transferred her to the
emergency room of the hospital with pneumonia. I noticed yesterday
that she had had a wet cough. She looked terrible today. I have
been crying since I put her in the home in September. I grieve with
you. This is such an unbelievably painful part of life. I fear that
I will lose my mom very soon too.

My apologies to the group for this.

Fred
