I thought I would follow up with the list because I just got off the
phone with Carl Marks thanking him for the excellent R-13 Bb that I just
received and for his help in arranging for Francois to hand pick one for
me at the USA warehouse.

He said that he has in stock right now an excellent playing R-13 A
clarinet (nickel keys), very similar in playing quality to the one that
I had bought from him a few months ago. My R-13 A clarinet plays every
bit as good as a Bb, so if anyone is in the market for an R-13 A
clarinet, I suggest you give Carl Marks a call at Marks Music. This one
will go fast as he deals with many professionals and university
teachers. He always sends out his clarinets on a trial basis and if you
are not happy with it, will work with you to find one you are happy
with.
