Forget buying the special paper. Try one of these:

- Get yourself a small sanding block from a hardware store that will let you
put sandpaper around the "long edge" of the block, round the bottom edges of
the block so that they will ride over the reed and not catch on it, and use
standard sandpaper sheets.

- Use one of the foam sanding blocks, usually available in the paint section
of the hardware store.

The foam blocks will be easier to find than a regular block that let's you
fold the paper around the long edge of the block, by the way.

Both of these blocks are a good deal larger than Tom's, but they work the
same way and just as well.

I've used the same foam block for two years now with no problem. Run it
under water, and it's clean.
