Quick question for anyone who is using Tom Ridenour's ATG reed adjusting
tool. A problem I've had since I bought it is that the edges of the abrasive
papers won't stay stuck to the sides of the block. I've been cutting my own
papers from larger sheets and have tried several different kinds of
double-sided tape and even rubber cement. I don't think I want to use
anything as strong as contact cement to hold it down because of the
difficulty I think it would cause when I want to mount new sandpaper on the
block. Buying replacement abrasives from Ridenour (or the manufacturer, at
any rate) doesn't seem like a good solution because I had the same problem
with the papers that originally came with the kit.
Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance,
Karl
