Walter, when someone comes the list and says, "Give us your
opinion of ...," it seems to me that when one does just that, one
has done exactly what was requested. And no banter or criticism
of that opinion is possible. It was not given gratuitously, but
in response the a request.

I don't mind if someone gives a completely contrary position.
There is room for all views. But what it not appropriate is when
one has given an opinion in response to a request for one, no one
has a valid riposte of, "That's nonsense," or something of that
nature. It is neither sense nor nonsense. It is an opinion given
on request.

If the party does not like the opinion, then it should be
ignored.
