Maestro fonts are only used by Finale.
It is correct that if a system font like Times or Arial is assigned (opens
with) Finale, sadness would likely ensue.

I never had this problem with Finale 2004 under Windows 2000.
I did have the problem with Finale 2005a under Windows XP.
I don't know if this makes any difference.
