I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Nick while in graduate school
in Britain. I was able to spend some time studying some clarinets in
his extraordinary collection and am very grateful to have had that
opportunity. He a very knowledgeable and interesting man and was
generous with me in terms of access to his collection.

His passing is a loss to the music world.
