The problem with Eb barrels is that there is just not enough room to pin
them, plus I think pinning such a small piece will probably cause it to
crack again. Also, the crack is most like into one of the tenons and once
there can never be fixed. It is possible that you might be able to achieve a
temporary seal by using superglue, but that will most likely release at some
point.

The bore configuration of the Cabart is probably not too far off from the
Buffet, but the tenon diameter/length might be more of a problem.

If you know the correct length you can order my standard Eb barrels from
either Woodwind and Brasswind or MUNCY WINDS. I make Eb barrels in 40mm,
41mm, 42mm and 43mm.
