Or my favorite, where Roxanne finds herself nude behind the bush and
to the fire chief's query why she is nude, she offers him some
sarcastic remark which he takes straight, as I recall and to which
she responds. "I was speaking IRONICALLY!" The fire chief retorts,
"Oh, yeah, irony. We tried irony once in this town; it didn't work."
