Last Saturday I sent an e-mail to this list expressing my doubts as to the
"discovery" Dan Leeson announced with respect to Mozart properties.

Monday night I watched a beautifully played performance of the Gran
Partit(t)a. After that I opened my mail, and one of the first things I read
was Dan's answer to my mail. Dan thought it necessary to cal me a Moron. I
was so surprised and upset I took my dictionary to check whether this word
meant what I thought it meant. It did. I immediately sent a rather sharp
e-mail to this list. This mail came back as being undeliverable (a problem I
often have with this list). It was already late at night, and in a way I
felt relieved it wouldn't arrive.

Tonight I read my mail since that moment, and suddenly there was -- you
guess it already -- exactly this same mail in the digest, followed by the
mail I sent Saturday night! I have my MSc in computer science, but this is
one of those ununderstandable things: there is no virus in my computer, nor
any other thing unhealthy (I checked that already), yet this mail and a
previous one suddenly arrive somewhere they should not arrive anymore.

I am NOT going to offer Dan my apologies. I still doubt the reality of his
discovery. Someone wrote me I was arrogant to doubt Dan's announcement, as
he is one of the greatest experts on Mozart. That is not what I discussed: I
cannot judge that, although I think he is an expert on WAM. Rereading the
pagelong journal's article however, my doubts are even strengthened. I will
not elaborate this, read the article critically yourself. And I still am
offended by Dan's calling me a moron, I think HE should apologise, he
started calling names! He won't, I am convinced.
