For the technical folk (a few of which asked what was behind the lists &
web services) ...

This is what supports the list & web site:

1 ADSL line & router for mail (1100kb/s inbound, 256kb/s outbound
1 SDSL line & router for web services (1100kb/sec inbound & outbound)
3 switches (ADSL <-> servers, SDSL <-> servers, 1000 mb/s server <->
server private line)
1 mail server
1 dns server
1 web server
1 database server
1 system backup server, also running a database replica
1 NAS device (archival storage)
1 ethernet power switch
1 8-port kvm
1 remote console over ip device
2 UPS devices
1 secondary dns/mail server (located in Texas in Forest's wife's dental
office - thanks for the line, Forest & Susan)
associated cabing, extra power supplies, extra disks, local terminal &
keyboard, etc.

Even with all that it gets scary sometimes when things fail ...
