Maybe he meant "standard" business axiom in RUSSIA forgetting that American
STANDARD businesspeople speak STANDARD, American English.

I was surprised when I learned the translation.
I thought it was a clever, original thought of Ronald Reagan. I'm
disappointed to learn that virtually everyone but me and a few others
weren't aware of this "standard" business axiom. My business axioms are
limited to "How much is it?" "Can I get a discount?" or even "Do you expect
me to buy this dreck?" It was a nice, musical note of condescension
however, and I enjoyed your pithy reply which included some "bad" language
which is a first, I believe, and always a healthy sign. :-) !
