The SARGON Patterns in Blue has been out of print. I've performed it
twice and wish I owned a copy of it. If it IS back in print, please
let us know.

The 2 SCHUBERT Romance are one in the same. I would recommend it
highly. Although it is very short - 2 brief stanzas - it is lovely. It
comes from Schubert's singspiel DIE VERSCHWORENEN.

The COOKE Three Songs of Innocence are each of different character;
all from William Blake. The third begins with great exuberance and
ends quietly. For those of you who look for music for church, you may
want to consider the second song.

The JACOB Three Pieces would be high on my list, too. Great fun for
the clarinet.

The ARGENTO To Be Sung Upon the Water - alternates bass and Bb. The
bass parts are challenging but lie well on the instrument (although I
do not have the part in front of me and it has been a very long time
since I played the piece). Once song, The Swan, I think is for just
voice and clarinet. The entire cycle is a substantial set.

Personal note: although a subscriber for a number of years, I post
only occasionally. Thank you to all who take time to write clearly and
thoughtfully.
