Subj: [kl] new Mozart finds

I sent this Friday night, but it didn't arrive at klarinet, thus I will try
again:

Dan,

I didn't mean to offend you. But I read "The Mozart Forgeries". And the
first thing to raise my suspicions was, that in all of the article never
this book has been mentioned.

Then there was also the story about the history of how these cases had come
to you. There are a few gaps in it, that you filled in in a most plausible
way -- but in a way that also easily can have been invented by yourself.

And finally, if such an important found had been made, it definitely would
have been in the journals I read qand in TV news in this country, but also
in the major American journals. As far as I know, the only journal to
mention it, was the journal I read on internet.

It is clear I must be suspicious, given all these facts.

If your find is a real find -- and for you I really hope so! -- I am the
first one to congratulate you! But if it is an "april fool's joke" I also
congratulate you, since so many people believed in it, because you did very
well in setting it up!

No hard feelings, I hope.

Rien
