As part of Chamber Music Northwest's off-season program, David Shifrin
will be doing a concert with the Miami String Quartet on Monday evening,
January 30, at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. The program includes:

Mozart, Quintet in A for Clarinet and Strings, K.581
Weber, Quintet in Bb for Clarinet and Strings, Op 34
Shostakovich, String Quartet #9 in A, Op 117

The latter piece is sans Shifrin, naturally. David usually puts on a
