You gotta love those marketing guys. There is a "rare gold Selman"
clarinet advertised on eBay today. Yes, "Selman". Now, there's a
vendor who is hoping to capitalize on name confusion. Perhaps I could
start selling Leplanc clarinets.

Even more fun, the description says that the clarinet is "made of *hand
selected* composition ebonite of *ONLY* the very best quality". I'm a
bit confused as to how one would go about "hand selecting" ebonite.

Oh, and rest assured that this is "not one of those cheap imitations you
may have already seen," because "it has the serial number!"

It is interesting that the keys do seem to be gold-plated. Item number
is 7381770842.
