I have played the Nutcracker each year as a part of my orchestral job
responsibility with the Dallas Opera orchestra. In the past I have had to
turn down many better paying and higher quality jobs because of this
responsibility. We now have an assistant clarinet in the DO orchestra and
next year....I'm taking off!
