Meanwhile, as luck would have it, I was stuck on an academic committee with
a colleague in our Music Department, to whom I asked at a recent meeting,
"What's the Music Department going to do on January 27?" That question
triggered the planning for a musical birthday bash/potluck lunch for lovers
of Wolfgang's music. In addition to whoever else wishes to perform, I'll
play the K.498 trio with or without two other players. It's the hostess'
responsibility to find me a violist and pianist. Otherwise I show up with
my computer and speakers!
