I have a month to try out and decide about buying a specific Eb clarinet=
, a Leblanc LL.

On 5 minute playing test the response is even, and tone good, pitch good=
until top clarion B and C-which are FLAT. Is this typical of the model=
or Eb in general? (I know from reading Hadcock books and long ago play=
ing Copland Music for the Theater that the altissimo requires different =
fingerings than Bb.)

I will see a couple of good Eb players during school break who I can hav=
e play the instrument, but I am also interested in list members comments=
.
