Galper Clarinet Method Book 2 is very good for that next level. Interesting
songs (not dry like Rubank), alt fingering work and is overall a great
method for pre-Hite Melodious/Progressive studies. Luyben Music carries it.

It's been a while since I've taught a private student.
I have 1 retired guy just finishing up Rubank Elementary (plus a solo and a
duet book).
What would be some recommendations for a next method book?
