Unfortunately my reply to your private mail still bounced back! Sorry!

Dear Nick,

nice to hear from you again! I saw your recorded interview in Berlin and
certainly regret that I didn't contact you when I used to travel to England
a lot. Next time! Your collection must be something: You do have an
Ottensteiner pair? Tony used them for a Brahms-CD? I must get this one!
BTW, just today, by coincidence, I phoned Foglietta upon your
recommendation. I have these old Esser Handapprobiert basset horn-reeds and
I can't make or find anything like them. Unfortunately I need them for a
rather peculiar ancient mouthpiece I use for playing early Jazz on my
Berthold and sometimes one of my Kruspe Bb ... Foglietta might be able to
help. Thanks again for the tip!

Best wishes,
danyel

(sorry I wrote Richard Mueller rather than Iwan -- very strange, probably
messed up in my brain with Wilhelm Mueller, the poet, via Richard Wilhelm,
the sinologist!)
