Further to previous comment... after a brief reading, the major flaw
that I can see in the article is that it doesn't *really* measure what
players do in terms of changing their vocal tract; it just describes
what they *say* they do. And to be honest I don't think that's likely
to be a very good description of what they *actually* are doing.

Potentially an interesting starting point, though.
