I had the same experience! Had to wear one of those elbow casts and what a
pain...getting into a shirt or putting on a jacket...naturally it happened
in the Winter...was a real challenge. I was a test technician for Huffy
Bicycles at the time and had to write technical reports of my various stress
tests, etc.. Fortunately, we had a clerk who typed our drafts, but I
learned to write with my left hand during that ordeal. Haven't tried to do
that since, but it may have had some benefit on my playing. Just stick it
out, Audrey! I had arthritis in that wrist and it would ache at times for a
couple of years, but now only when I really strain it.
