Without this being intended in any way a personal slight to Rien, isn't it a
shame that we don't spend more time carefully choosing our words, and even
then considering whether it is appropriate or important to pass them on to
several hundred people to read.

I have in my possession some writings of my grandfather (who died in 1936)
and everything which was written was carefully crafted and considered. And
please don't tell me that we don't have the time to be more careful. I only
have to think about how much time I have spent reading the excessive number
of posts to this list in the last week, most of which have promptly been
deleted because in the long term they did not contribute anything much of
lasting value to build me up as a musician, a clarinettist (non American
spelling!) or in my humanity.

Have a happy weekend everyone.
Geoff.
