everybody makes mistakes. Maybe you feel happy about "Dan's unique spelling
conventions", but I note many mistakes in many postings on this list.
Actually I often feel ashamed of my own mistakes, when I read back what I
posted on this list.

But I think it is inherent to this medium, that at the same time is fluently
and fast: you type down some text nd send it. In the case of "really
important" letters I reread them twice, after having read them by my
spelling checker, but most mails I send I do not reread.
