Klarinet Archive - Posting 000220.txt from 2005/11

I can certainly identify with the phrase below. I tell my students
that I make mistakes throughout the semester for pedagogical reasons
only. I really DO know the right answers but I want them to stay
awake to detect and to correct my mistakes (which of course is a lot
of B.S.). Where something as important as a contract is not
involved, I've found mistakes to be invaluable in finding out who
actually reads what I write. On those occasions where someone
contacts me and says, "That unique spelling you offered us in your
last posting was much enjoyed," I'm delighted that they've read
it. I thank them for reading it and for pointing out the mistake.
