I have had my two front incisors plus one of the adjacent ones replaced with
crowns. They look and feel fine and let me play the clarinet without difficulty
(that is, without any more than the normal difficulty...). My problem is that
once in a while they come off. I've had all three glued back in place once and
one of them a second time. It's very distressing to have a tooth fall out of
your mouth. My theory is that the pressure exerted by the clarinet mouthpiece,
which has upward and outward components, causes the crowns to loosen over time.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Claudia
